Special Announcement

I’m working on my new video blog using Camtasia to create “Mentor Mike’s Market Movie” – a daily video showing how the ES moved throughout the day and where the trade opportunities opened up.  I hope to launch this new VIDLOG just after the first of the year.  If this works well, it could be a prelude to a live, hosted trading room with a video recap at the end of each day.

Also, please be advised that I will be on my Holiday Vacation from Friday, 12/23/11 through Monday, January 2, 2012.  I’ll be back in action on Tuesday, 1/3/12, when I’ll hopefully have my prototype VIDLOG ready for your first review.

Chart Chat

My chart template today is a modification of yesterday’s.  “Go for the Gold!” is its name.  Can you see why?  Whenever the MACD histogram is gold, there is a trading opportunity that features a with-the-trend RED, WHITE & BLUE alignment of the MAs.  When I have dual alignments on both my three-minute and thirteen-minute charts, the odds are even better.  I have always tried to use color-coding to help my students find good trades.  I don’t think I can make it any easier than this.  I won’t share copies of this template, at least not initially, so don’t ask.  If you are serious about trading you should be familiar enough with your Ninja Trader platform to be able to duplicate this template for yourself.  I’ll give you a hint.  It requires two MACDs.
